Celestials
Celestials have been sent to earth almost as long as man has walked. The strange and magical occurrences these beings bring have many times confused humans, causing legends, myths, campfire stories, and other fictional tales.
Birth
Being born as a celestial is completely random. The star and its attributes cannot be passed down to offspring. Keez, the creator of all stellae life, will first choose the parents, they then will craft the offspring. This task is long and tedious as everything must be considered. Hair strands, ph. levels, skin cells, even illnesses are carefully crafted and woven into the vessel. How every part of the body will age is carefully programmed all into the star as well. Because of this, celestials are often known to be healthy and incredibly beautiful, Keez is an artist after all. Before a celestial is sent down to earth, they are blessed by a Dynasty. This assigns them to a specific moon phase that grants them their Stellar Gibbous. The star will then be sent down to a mother and replace her egg before the fertilization process occurs. Celestial births are often done in one's own home in secret. Why this is, is unknown though some speculate it is to keep the secret of stellae life, however parents rarely ever know what they get into after having their celestial child.
Star
The star holds all the energy a celestial needs to survive, if the star were to run out the celestial would die. Each night a celestial will replenish all their energy from the moonlight. This causes the spirit of the star to show, giving features related to the given spirit of the star. Just as how humans know stars to be, celestial stars are incredibly hot. If a star were to be touched outside of the celestial, it would obliterate whatever did.
Stellar Gibbous
Moonlight from the moon will replenish energy, while moonlight from the specific phase will revert the celestial back to what Keez originally planned for the vessel. This certain night is called a Stellar Gibbous. Scars will close, bruises will heal, hair will grow, and illnesses will be cured. The only issues that cannot be fixed are if a certain part of the body were to be removed, or any psychological issues the celestial may have. The celestial body will also change. The features present are said to represent the character of the celestial, however if this is true it is still unknown as most things regarding stellae life are.
Supernatrual
Additionally, the moonlight from the given dynasty gifts a heightened ability, usually tied to the animal spirit. Some celestials go a step further and explore these abilities at a greater level by training them to give them supernatural powers. These abilities, however, cannot be explained in more detail as they vary from person to person, though they usually are influenced by the animal spirit.Death
Celestials don't ever really die from anything other than their stars being worn out. However, it is not impossible for a celestial to be killed. Either way, the star is supposed to return back into the sky. Sometimes a vessel will die before the star. This leaves the star to become feral and become one with its animal spirit. These are mostly known to be called “Walking Nova” and are almost always dangerous.
