Vilen gets very self conscious about how people perceive him so he does stuff that would hold up his masculine image even if he has no real interest in doing so. He's very boisterous and has a tendency to not mind his own business, however his social personality attracts people often so he doesn't see how this might be annoying people. He also doesn’t know the difference between a real friend and an acquaintance so to avoid sharing things to the wrong person, he never gets personal. Despite being well groomed and neat, he is extremely blunt and impolite. This is most likely due to his mom not being home to check him on his needy attitude and foul language but you can't blame her, she's been single handedly keeping what's left of her family afloat. Vil loves her to death but he's too busy worrying about his image to realize that he's not doing anything to help her.
